Social activities The 2006 ‘summer party’ was held on Saturday 22nd July in and around the memorial garden adjacent to the Associations office. At one time there were about sixty people present (and three dogs) and it was the largest attendance to date. The rain held clear and everyone enjoyed a convivial time with a large and varied selection of delicious foods. For some pictures of this year's party click here. All the members receive two newsletters in each year, one at around Christmas time and the other in the early summer, informing them of what is being either done or organised on their behalf by the committee. Feedback from these newsletters is welcomed by the committee who will always consider constructive suggestions from any of the members.
